While receiving spiritual guidance under the leadership of Elder Walter Williams III, Walk of Faith COC DOC. Pastor Trina Lucky would recognize her gifts as a choir director, praise and worship leader and Sunday school teacher. As her love for GOD grew Pastor Lucky wanted more and decided to leave her family church and began a new fellowship under Apostle David Atkins, of Strong Tower Pentecostal Ministries, where she would experience a true move of GOD of which she so desired. While attending this Ministry, she would once again experience the need to move higher in the Lord after serving on the Praise and Worship team and would began fellowship in 2001 under the leadership of Moses T. Bethune, Grace and Truth Ministries.

It was during these transitioning phases that Pastor Trina E. Lucky would hear the voice of GOD and finally accept the call to preach the gospel. At the onset of her ministry she was ordained a Minister of the gospel at Grace & Truth Ministries, Goff street, new haven CT, where she served in several capacities to assist the ministry. It was in 2003 while under the teaching of Bishop Moses T. Bethune that she would learn that her adoration for the Lord was not only warranted by GOD but expected and thus allowed to grow into the servant that the Lord called her to be.

Pastor Lucky, is currently the assistant pastor of New Destiny Tabernacle Church, INC in Hamden, CT. She also serves as the Director of the Youth & Young Adults Department of Greater Destiny fellowship churches, in the city of Hamden, Connecticut.

Pastor Lucky has worked at Yale University School of Medicine for over 20 years in the Department of Surgery as an Educational Liaison. Her passion for teaching inside and outside of the ministry has allowed her to continue her education enrolling her in the Doctorate Program at Capella University, where she will be completing her educational assignment in the Winter of 2017. Her tenacity to complete her obligation in Healthcare Management with a Concentration in Leadership has opened the door to other career opportunities of which she is truly glad. Her previous Education from Albertus Magnus College with a Master’s degree in Leadership, has afforded her the opportunity to be more active in her own community.

In 2005, Pastor Lucky sat on the Board of the New Haven Boys and Girls Club as a parent Liaison. As a single mother of two active boys she wanted to be involved in the community as much as possible. Her involvement as Team Mom for the New Haven Pop Warner Football Team in 2006; New Haven Boys & Girls Club, Blazers Basketball Team in 2005 and countless other community activities has afforded her the opportunity to be close to her two children. As a continued community Activist, Pastor Lucky was afforded another chance to sit on the leadership board of the Christian Youth in Action, Developing Component of the Promise Land Project in 2006.

To date Pastor Lucky is a self-published author, publishing her first book in 2004 entitled Spiritual Bankruptcy, “tapping into your your faith, will awake the dormant place” and fallen to worship, “after the breakdown” published in 2008.
